How to Choose a Performance Based SEO Agency

Seo

In today’s competitive marketplace, any business eventually needs to depend on a strong virtual presence. This means that the required extra push for organic traffic to flow towards their website and GMB results in ultimately increasing leads for their specific services.

We implemented an effective SEO strategy to improve SafHands Security Services website ranking to outrank stronger competitors on more than 70 keywords on the first page of Google.

The owner of SafeHands Security Services tried many SEO companies before working with Digicrawl. Unfortunately, their SEO strategies did not work and none of them could get the website up on the first page of search results.

Following is a case study in which we will explain how Digicrawl successfully ranked SafeHands Security Services and greatly improved website traffic, lead generation and online authority.

Identifying the Opportunities and Challenges

Opportunities

  1. Growing Demand for Security Services: Adelaide has recorded an upward trend in demand for security services. Searches with “security services Adelaide” and “event security in Adelaide” have shown a constant increase in monthly search volumes.
  2. Established Business: SafeHands Security Services was an already established business that offered residential, commercial and event security but was not fully optimizing online exposure.
  3. Organic Traffic Initially: The website was receiving negligible traffic organically. It ranked on Google’s 4th and 5th pages for a few long-tail keywords such as “party security Adelaide” and “event security services.”

Challenges

  1. Low Website Authority: The website had limited backlinks from external sites which hampered its authority in Google’s eyes.
  2. Slow Page Loading Speed: The site took over 5 seconds to load mainly due to unoptimized images and outdated plugins negatively impacting user experience and SEO rankings.
  3. Low-Quality Content: Much of the content was not SEO-optimized with inconsistent keyword usage, weak meta descriptions and poorly structured headers leading to missed opportunities for ranking on competitive search terms.
  4. Poor Website Design and Structure: The website design and structure were outdated and not user-friendly. The navigation was cluttered making it difficult for users to find relevant information quickly.

This poor design negatively impacted user engagement and SEO performance as search engines prioritize well-structured and easy-to-navigate websites.

SEO Implementation

The challenges and opportunities identified when we first took up the project in july 2024 include the following. We performed an extensive SEO strategy focusing on technical optimization, on-page optimization and off-page optimization.

Technical SEO and Website Development

We implemented key technical improvements to build a strong SEO foundation for SafeHands Security Services:

  1. We optimized the site for mobile devices ensuring a responsive design that improved user experience across all platforms. We added schema markup to help search engines better understand the business and improve visibility in local search results.
  2. We revamped the URL structure making it more SEO-friendly and easier for users and search engines to navigate.
  3. We resolved broken links by applying 301 redirects enhancing user experience and SEO performance.

Result

These technical enhancements led to a significant increase in mobile traffic improved navigation and better site crawlability; all of which contributed to long-term SEO success.

On-Page SEO

  1. Website Speed Optimization: We began by optimizing all images reducing their file size without compromising quality. We also removed outdated and unused plugins that were slowing down the site. This dramatically reduced page loading speed from 5 seconds to 1.2 seconds.

Result: Faster load times improved the overall user experience and contributed to better rankings for targeted keywords.

  1. Content Optimization: We revamped the website’s content to make it more SEO-friendly. This included:
    • Rewriting meta titles and descriptions to target high-value keywords like “Adelaide security services” and “ security company Adelaide.”
  • Structuring headers (H1, H2, etc.) properly and integrating natural keyword placements throughout the content.

Result: More pages started ranking for relevant keywords, driving organic traffic to the homepage and specific service pages.

Off-Page SEO

To boost SafeHands Security Services’ online authority we built high-quality backlinks through local directories and security-related blogs. We optimized their Google My Business profile and created citations in relevant directories to enhance local SEO performance.

Additionally, we promoted the business on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, generating referral traffic and strengthening their brand presence.

Result

These off-page efforts improved the domain authority’s prominent placement in the Google Map Pack increased social engagement and boosted website traffic and local visibility.
